Two People One Toilet
Synopsis
Robert, a young man who is intellectually disabled is taken to the park by his brother Tom. But what is meant to be an uneventful day trip proves to be the opposite.
Director's Statement
I made this film to promote equality and to show audiences that people with disability are capable of many things including things that able-bodied people are not capable of. I also wanted to further encourage viewers to acknowledge that people with disability should not be underestimated or undervalued. I deliberately chose to have the love interest (Chloe) played by someone with a physical disability to try and change people’s perception that an able-bodied person could be attracted to someone who is disabled. Lastly, I purposefully wrote this film with a light-hearted and inspiring touch so that it may have the chance to reach the widest possible audience.
